Finally we are home. It was a long wet ride from PA. for me anyway.
This was another fantastic trip. It started out great, then kind of sputtered at the end. Riding the Natchez Trace Parkway was definitely something I always wanted to do. It was worth the effort to get down there. Would I recommend it to any one? Sure as long as you don't expect it to be like the Blue Ridge Parkway. The "Trace" is much straighter and since it's not on the ridge of any mountains, it's not as scenic. That said it's still a must ride road for any motorcyclist.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is much better in my opinion, because of the twists and turns it makes, and the beautiful vistas everywhere. Unfortunately we didn't make it the whole way to the top because of the rear tire on Sue's bike, as detailed earlier in the blog.
